Judge Graham was elected and sworn in to the Marion Superior Court on December 28, 2012. The citizens of Marion County, voted to retain him to serve an additional six-year term in November 2018. On June 11, 2024, the Marion County Judicial Selection Committee unanimously recommended him for retention for another six-year term, and that he be placed on the November 5, 2024, ballot.
Judge Graham serves on the Board of Directors, Indiana Judicial Conference; Indiana Judges Association, Board of Managers; member Indy Bar Association; Indy Bar Foundation, Empowerment Committee; former Board of Director, MCBA; member of the ISBA; ABA; and NBA. He is a graduate of Seton Hall University, BA; Howard University School of Law, JD; and Indiana Wesleyan University, MBA. Professionally, he is a graduate of the Indiana Judicial College as well as the Indiana Graduate Program for Judges.
Judge Graham is a member of the Bar of the Supreme Court of Indiana; the U.S. District Court for Southern & Northern Districts of Indiana; and the United States Supreme Court.
Judge Graham is a former Deputy Attorney General for the State of Indiana; a former Marion County Deputy Prosecutor; as well as having served as a Marion County Deputy Public Defender. Prior to being elected to the Bench, he was in a civil practice with Coleman Graham & Stevenson, LLC and Graham & Associates, PC.
Judge Graham is a Presenter for the Indiana Supreme Court’s Annual Constitution Day Program in Marion County Public and Catholic Schools. He is also a Presenter for the Marion County Bar Association’s Expungement Program (Second Chance Program for Offenders).
From 2007 until 2015, Judge Graham served as Chair, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Indiana Holiday Commission. During the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 26th Annual Celebration held at the Indiana Statehouse on January 12, 2017, Judge Graham was presented, by Governor Eric J. Holcomb, with the Sagamore of the Wabash Award, in recognition of his distinguished service to the Commission and to the State of Indiana.
